Introducing the People of The Stewartry
The Stewartry of Strathearn was formed in June 2000 with a union of the two former parishes: Aberuthven linked with Dunning (1978) and Forteviot linked with Aberdalgie & Dupplin (1981). Like many rural parishes each of the two former linkages has a long history of association with worshipping communities in the Earn valley dating back to the early 17th century.
