Children in the Stewartry
Children’s Ministry
Within the parish we currently have the following opportunities to engage with our young people:
The Tuesday Club that meets in Dunning Church Hall;
Sunday morning worship at Forteviot especially designed to be “family friendly” and inclusive of very young children*.
*After the Bible readings anyone who wishes to leave the church can withdraw to the safety of Forteviot village hall where fun activities are supervised by the ‘Sunday School’ team.
At a recent meeting of the Kirk Session it was agreed that further services to young people should be a priority. A Working Group has been convened to consider further Stewartry wide initiatives to reach out to young people of all ages. If you would like to find out more about how the plans for work with young people are developing please contact the church office.
The Stewartry complies with all Child Protection legislation and guidelines. Our Child Protection Officer is Mrs. Jean Young who can be contacted via the Church Office. The Stewartry's Child Protection policy is displayed at Dunning Church Hall and copies are available from the Church office.
