Aberuthven Church The eighteenth century building was sold and converted as a residence in 1988. The present church building was dedicated on Easter Sunday 1991.
The remains of the medieval parish church, St. Kattan’s,
are to the west of the village. Added to the ruined church and dating from the
1730s is the Montrose Mausoleum, burial place of the Graha Worship Times
Aberuthven Friendship Club The Aberuthven Friendship Club was launched in 2007 as an open invitation to the whole Aberuthven community to enjoy the welcoming space of the church. The club is open every Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. and all are welcome. There is no membership, no fee and no obligation asked of anyone – just an opportunity to drop in, enjoy a cup of tea. There are some group activities on offer which change regularly to ensure that everyone finds something to enjoy. Folk may choose to participate or simply sit and chat or watch – as long as they are enjoying the companionship and friendship of the afternoon.
